The short version

ZROD collects only the information reasonably necessary to operate this website, understand how it is used, protect it from abuse, and respond to project inquiries.

ZROD does not sell personal information and does not use information submitted through the contact form for third-party advertising.

Information you provide

When you submit a project inquiry, ZROD may collect information including:

• Your name and email address.
• Your business or organization name.
• Your website address.
• Project budget and timing information.
• Information you provide about your problem, desired outcome, business, systems, or project.
• Any other information you voluntarily include in your message.

Please do not submit passwords, authentication credentials, financial account information, health information, or other sensitive information through the contact form.

How that information is used

ZROD may use submitted information to:

• Evaluate whether a project may be a good fit.
• Respond to your inquiry.
• Communicate about a potential engagement.
• Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, or security threats.
• Maintain records reasonably necessary for business and operational purposes.

Submission of an inquiry does not create a client, consultant, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

Infrastructure and service providers

ZROD uses third-party infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate the website and communicate with visitors. These may include Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, and Zoho.

Microsoft Azure

The website and its server-side functionality are hosted using Microsoft Azure. Requests and form submissions may therefore be processed by Microsoft infrastructure.

Zoho Mail

Project inquiries may be delivered and stored through Zoho Mail so that ZROD can review and respond to them.

Cloudflare

ZROD uses Cloudflare services for domain-name services, security, traffic management, website analytics, and bot or abuse prevention.

Depending on the active network configuration, Cloudflare may process technical information associated with requests to the website, such as IP address, browser and device information, request metadata, security signals, and related network information.

ZROD may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general website usage and performance without using that information to create advertising profiles.

The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or malicious traffic. Turnstile may process technical and security signals as part of that verification.

Cookies and tracking

ZROD does not intentionally use third-party advertising cookies or advertising trackers.

Infrastructure or security providers may use technical storage or other mechanisms that are necessary to provide security, fraud prevention, traffic management, or related functionality.

Sharing

ZROD does not sell personal information.

Information may be disclosed to service providers that process information on behalf of ZROD when necessary to operate the website, deliver communications, provide security, or maintain infrastructure.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect legal rights, investigate abuse, or protect the security of ZROD, its systems, or others.

Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal or security requirements.

Inquiries that do not result in an engagement may periodically be deleted when they are no longer useful or necessary.

Your choices

You may contact ZROD to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you previously submitted, subject to information that may need to be retained for legal, security, contractual, or legitimate business purposes.

Do Not Track

Browsers and devices may provide Do Not Track or similar privacy signals. Because there is not a single universally implemented technical standard for all such signals, ZROD does not currently respond differently to ordinary browser Do Not Track signals.

ZROD does not use the website to build advertising profiles based on activity across unrelated websites.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults seeking professional software services. It is not directed toward children and ZROD does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the website, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements change.

The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
